Please note that Bright Horizons does charge fees for most services. We think you will find that we are uniquely positioned to help you in comparison to other options:

  • Agency caseworkers can provide wonderful support, but are not trained in special education and disability rights laws.

  • Our rates range from $25 to $65 an hour based on a sliding fee scale. Most attorneys charge $200 to $350 an hour. Most consultants charge at least $100 an hour.

  • We charge a $50 deposit, not a large retainer.

  • We offer payment plans and do accept third party payments.

  • If someone outside your household pays for your services, it is a tax deductible donation for them.

  • Free legal services generally have cutoffs for income eligibility or limit the types of cases they take.  We will do our best to help anyone.

Bright Horizons' rates are:

​

  • $25/hr at or below 249% FPL and within 50 miles of 6020 W. Bancroft, Toledo OH

  • $35/hr between 250 and 374% FPL and within 50 miles of 6020 W. Bancroft, Toledo OH

  • $45/hr between 375 and 449% FPL and within 50 miles of 6020 W. Bancroft, Toledo OH, OR  at or below 299% FPL for those residing outside the 50 mile radius.

  • $65/hr above 449% FPL and within 50 miles of 6020 W. Bancroft, Toledo OH, OR at or above 300% FPL for those residing outside the 50 mile radius.
